When and where

Amman Bab runs for three days, Wednesday to Friday, in Amman, Jordan. The exact venue and dates will be announced here.

Entry is free for all visitors.

Key reasons to visit

  • Everything under one roof

Products, talks, vendors, and the community, three days in one accessible place instead of scattered appointments.

  • Entry is free

Amman Bab is free for every visitor. Come alone, with family, or with the professionals who support you.

  • Hear every vendor from the stage

Each vendor presents in the talks programme, so you can follow the whole market even without visiting every booth.

  • Built accessible from the start

Guides at the entrance, accessible formats, sign language interpretation, and a venue you can actually move in.

What to expect

  • Try products hands-on

Assistive-technology vendors demonstrate their products at their booths, pick things up, try them, and ask the people who build them.

  • Hear what is new

In the talks programme, every vendor presents from the stage, so you can follow the whole market without walking every aisle.

  • Learn from guest speakers

Invited speakers bring workshops and presentations on accessibility and independent living, for disabled visitors and the general public alike.

Accessibility at the event

Amman Bab is an expo about accessibility, so the event itself has to lead by example. This is what we are planning:

  • A step-free, wheelchair-accessible venue with accessible toilets and clear, high-contrast signage.
  • Trained guides at the entrance who can accompany blind and low-vision visitors around the fair on request.
  • The programme and floor plan in accessible formats: braille, large print, and screen-reader-friendly digital versions.
  • Sign language interpretation for the talks programme.
  • Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome everywhere at the fair.
  • A quiet room for anyone who needs a break from the crowd.
